Emergency Scuba Medic Training Course

The Emergency Scuba Medic (ESM) course is a three day emergency medicine course specifically catering for recreational divers and dive leaders / instructors who may find themselves working or diving in remote locations.

In addition to covering diving related conditions such as decompression sickness (DCS), marine injuries, and tropical medicine, the course touches on chamber operation, including a dry dive to demonstrate nitrogen narcosis.

The ESM course extensively covers first aid and preparing a casualty for transport. Candidates will be presented with an HSE emergency first aid certificate, and AED operators' certificate plus an oxygen providers certificate upon successful completion of the course.

The optional PADI Chamber Awareness speciality qualification is also available for a small additional cost.
