The PADI Recompression Chamber Awareness Course is available to divers from any training agency, and is designed to provide a safe and well supervised introduction into the work of a hyperbaric facility.

Upon completion, students will be familiar with the facilities available, the procedures used, the problems and hazards associated with a recompression chamber and possible treatments available.

Course participants are expected to take part in a recompression chamber dive to a maximum depth of 40 metres.

Pre-requisites:

• A recognised (entry-level or above) diving qualification
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Participants must hold a current diving medical
